A new innovation project was signed with the “United Nations Development Program – UNDP” within the “EU for the Green Agenda in Serbia” project.

The project “EU for the Green Agenda in Serbia” is implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden and the European Investment Bank (EIB), with technical and financial support from the European Union and in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, with additional financial resources provided by the governments of Sweden, Switzerland and Serbia (https://www.undp.org/sr/serbia/projects/eu-za-zelenu-agendu-u-srbiji).

Digitalleather doo start-up is one of the 18 winners of the co-financing grant. The name of the approved project is in English “Improving the utilization of industrially processed animal leather through the application of artificial intelligence – 00136377/00127312/2023/26”. The project was signed on 13.12.2023. year and will last until 15.12.2024. year.

The project will be implemented in three phases. The goal of the project will be the creation of a Prototype P2-24 technical solution for detecting defects on industrial leather using artificial intelligence, based on a light chamber for bilateral digitization of defects. The project will involve a team of experts from various technical domains such as: IT (Artificial Intelligence and Software Application Development), Mechanical Engineering (R&D), Electrical Engineering (application of the Arduino platform), Process Engineering, etc.

Projekat će biti sproveden i testiran u saradnji sa partnerom iz Automobilske industrije, kompanijom “AutoStop Interiors” iz Leskovca, koja se bavi proizvodnjom kožnih presvlaka za sedišta automobila.
